I put my more tender sarrs in the the fridge a few weeks ago. Washed them off and left them bare root in a plastic container with a bit or water in the bottom. Sprayed them with a bit of No Damp.
I looked at them today and the pitchers look a little dry. Should I wrap the roots in damp sphagnum? Will the plants draw in any water via the roots if they are at 2 degrees?
Thanks.

Thanks Martin. That tutorial was done by Rug from this site! I planted the VFTs in sphagnum just like that, but the sarrs are much bigger so I just put them on their sides in a Tupperware container. I think I will put some sphagnum on the roots this weekend. Can't hurt.

Would damp sphagnum peat moss over the roots help any?

I think they should be moist at all times.

Good luck!
