Had to set the plants up to have more control over humidity and temps. Also this short light period is already affecting them so I'm gonna blast em with 12-14 hours of light to keep em happy

Haha yes I know when I started I went crazy buying plants and obsessed without having any regaurd for danger being new to this. That being said I obsessed even harder researching and learning. Because I have these plants I think its making me more vigilant with care. The greenhouse will happen in time. And this terrarium is really only until the cold weather passes up here. Then the plants have elsewhere they'll be happier. I'll keep updates coming as the weeks go on , thanks for lookin and I'm always up for input or opinions

Definately got the daytime temp where I want it almost. Roughly 24-26 degrees celcius. Humidity during the day is around 75-80. The night time temp drop is gonna be pretty easy for the fall winter and spring I think. This setup is right beside our big sliding glass door to our southern facing back deck so They definitely benefit from the extra sunlight as well as the draft in that area of the house at night that helps cool it down. Still have to use the big freezer pads to stick underneath my tank all night. My old fish tank heater in the glass vase inside the terrarium heats and keeps humidity up real nice but I think I'll shut it off a little earlier to get a little longer low temp period. Doesn't seem to cool down really fast so I'll see how it helps shutting the heater off an hour or so earlier. Propping the tank up and having the giant freezer pads slid underneath is perfect. They're just big enough to cover almost half of the bottom surface which cools it nice and quick. I was skeptical at first and was almost certain Id have to put the ice packs inside the tank which I wasn't excited about. This is refreshing not having to. Anyways I'll keep the updates comin. Top is the old lighting set up. Two 18" 4100K T8s . Looked dull and weak so I went with a 4' 4 Tube 6500K T8 setup. What a friggin difference. Plants are gonna love this. Also helps add a couple degrees I was struggling with. Humidity is constantly up around 80-90%. Daytime temps around 26c nighttime around 16-17c Attachments:

When those 6500'S Burn out you can use F32t8/PL Bulbs. They are hands down the best bulbs you can get for a 4ft t8 fixture. The light is purple and the bulbs are generally 15-20 $ each but man the plants love em. I know lowes sells a t8 pl 'plant light' if you are back east.

Not sure just how much help I may find but im in the northwest, Vancouver BC Canada to be exact. Well, half an hour out. Anyways aside from HawaiianBotanicals who don't have much of a selection in nepenthes any more and im not sure they'll even do another order , I'm having a hell of a time finding anybody with any other plants . I'm dying to find a Hamata and possibly a couple other neps. I'm hoping to find some of the more unusual intermediate or highland species but finding someone else who may have a few plants they're willing to get rid of is my goal. These shipping laws are brutal and I hope in the near future someone works something out because it makes it hard for people having such a limited option when it comes to buying neps. Any help is greatly appreciated. Please feel free to email me (it's best to reach me) tylergscott@hotmail.com
Thanks again

Very nice pics and plants.
That's an impressive vine on the jamban, are you growing it outside?

No it's indoors It was just so nice out yesterday I wanted some photos of some plants in full sun. I actually got the Jamban at a larger size so I cannot take credit. That being said the plant has been really happy since I've had it (around xmas time I think) and is producing lots of new pitchers. The latest pitcher is going to be the biggest to date!
