Today was watering day for my orchids. I absolutely love watering the orchids and finding the odd sowbug, earwig or centipede running around the surface of the pot trying to avoid drowning. I have my tweezers handy, and simply transfer the beasties from the pot to the hungry nepenthes. Found a bloom spike with aphids. Those aphids got shaken over the pings and drosera. So satisfying. And a bit of revenge mixed in too. Ps. After reading Lloyds post below, wish I had just sprayed the aphids with my bug spray. This thread may change to what not to do. Stay tuned.

Not to spoil your fun but I had an infestation of aphids on some pings once. Took some Neem to get rid of them.

Yikes. And here I was feeling quite satisfied. So what I could have done was actually seed the aphids. Dumb move. Off to check the buggers. Thanks for the spoiler.

I think I have my swearing toned down now. No aphids have multiplied today on my pings. Lets see what tomorrow brings.
