Whats the deal with the little pitchers? Is it something they do along with making the leaves?and can u do pitchers pulls with thos tiny pitchers?

...I would say leave them alone, it`s just the plant growing, developing. Your next pitchers should be larger.

There doing very well 5 pots of them all putting on a big pitcher or 2. Def happy.

Each new pitcher will be slightly bigger than the last.
Maybe a rouge larger one will pop up as well.
It's just how they grow. Once they get about 1/2" they will start to loose that green color and start coloring up properly and look like what you have been waiting for.
I wouldn't mess with them when the plant is small it may become very upset with you and sometimes refuse to forgive you lol.
I have a couple very tiny ones currently and I just leave them be for a few months or so. There almost non recognizable after about 6 months

Woh i need to look at my cephs more lol. The one is putting on 2 big pitchers like huge lol. And the other 2 r putting on 1 big one each. Yah me. Just need to provide them with there winter "rest" so they dont die lol

I was told they need to gonthrew a kind of dormancy like mexican pings or they will die

Cephalotus does not go dormant. It loses most of its growth during the summer when the temperatures get very high. During winter, the growth slows down but that it just with any other plant because of the lower light intensity and lower temperature

Thats why i put " rest" . i was told they require colder temps and if u dont supply them with them colder temps they die:p

I read on somewhere that dormancy for Cephalotus Follicularis was only required to encourage flowering.

That's the information I received as well. They produce more vegetative growth in the cooler months and more 'pitchers' during the warmer weather. Flowering is usually from mid summer to fall.

Well there under lights in my closet id much rather leave them in there than put on a window sill ....im hoping to keep the closet warmer have it wraped in reflective blanket thing. Which is keepig temps high in there ..32 durring day and i dunno about evening when i checked last night at 3am cuz i was up trying to see the eclipse..and it was 18 thats without heater on yet. Will the 12 hour photoperiid put them to rest without the under 10 degrees

If it was easer to put my trays on windowsill under my lights i would but the trays wont fit
