Aw, those little pitchers kinda look like they're giving muppet-type smiles. Great plants and beautiful colours! How old are these seedlings?

vraev thanks man! I hope your little dubia is still alive. I'm very sorry to hear about the RHh keeper thanks man! Your seedling is looking great, it's a vigorous one, grown well chamelea Lol and thanks! I wouldn't have thought of it myself (my brains usually lost in plant world) but they do kind of look like smiling muppets hehe. The dubia seedlings have been relatively fast growers for me, they started germinating in May 2015. So I'm going to kind of take things back to the beginning for this update, this is the seed grown N. lowii Mt. Trusmadi featured in the beginning of the thread. A couple of pitchers ago it developed it's first bristles under the lid. For comparison this is an AW lowii that I got around the same time as the seed grown plant, AW didn't label the location so I'm not sure what clone it is but I think it's Trusmadi. It's a bit slower in my conditions than the seed grown lowii and it's just produced its first pitcher with bristles. The tiny macrophylla seedling at the beginning of the thread has been a consistent, hardy grower, one of my favorite seed grown plants. The attenboroughii are still around and growing pretty well, but that's for another time.
Thanks for looking.

vraev Thanks so much man, your macrophylla is so spectacular, I can only hope my little one makes it to that size. If we're really lucky when we're old men they will flower male and female and we can give the seeds to the grandkids edwards7 Thanks! Fortunately this seed grown macrophylla has been one of the fastest growers of my HL/UHL species.

Haha. You would be surprised at how fast these plants can grow given proper conditions man. I think they can flower at 10-20y of age. Probably earlier if they are accelerated by regular feeding and perfect conditions. You are on track there Guy. But yes..ofcourse...that is the dream we can hope for. I wish more species seed was made and available in cultivation.
