The 'who's next' avatar was my icing on the cake.

It's a sad day... a mould has enveloped the germinating seed stock that was purchased from Snapperhead. This was my fault as sterility levels dropped to sub floor conditions during sowing. Lesson learned, tears sopped... Already growing plants are thriving at least. Only a 230 $ mistake

Ok ok One more reason for me to learn TC. Ugh I'm working on it.
Did you directly sow them?

Is it too late to repot and use antifungals? Increase ventilation/decrease humidity? Do you need any No-Damp?

Is it too late to repot and use antifungals? Increase ventilation/decrease humidity? Do you need any No-Damp? I was wondering this myself. Unless there a total mold spore on their own it seemingly would be worth a shot at saving them

Its a bitritus mixed with a mildew. For the time and effort it would take to go through all that ima just cut my losses. I have access to all that but knowing the nature of mould this round is a loss. Im fogging the room this weekend with consan20 to take care of residuals.
At least everything else is doin ok...
That's the way she goes boys.

Yea I agree... Unfortunately when the tent first went up I was in such a rush to leave on my vacation that the fans were neglected. All it took was a week or so of 80% RH and some 25-30c day/nights with no drop to cause the onset. It's like a 70%rh wind tunnel in there now lol. One of the hummers shot out a chubby little starter first thing to tell me 'things will be ok.'

Very sorry to hear this ng. As you are in Victoria, why not just put these pots outside under an eve or covered with reemay or perforated plastic wrap and wait till spring (while being aware to protect the seeds from any freak deep freezes during the winter). Your situation is pretty much what happened with my (EBxEB) seeds, but once outside the natural airflow got ride of the mold/mildew quite quickly. As I mentioned in a previous thread I was amazed to see germination in the spring. The only problem came when a thirsty robin destroyed both pots and all seedlings during the summer drought . Best of luck.

I know how you feel. I watched my South African mistletoe slowly wither away over about six months, after I spent a lot of time/effort/money getting it here. You should arrange a cremation and give a toast as you throw the ashes into the ocean.

Aww sorry about that nolan! Mold can be devastating. I think you feel like me when i lost a whole heliamphora shipment because i had no paper. Its a lot of money, but the more important is you still have the 'yates gate' connection for more cephs seeds later

Life is full of lessons men, thanks for the moral support.
Rom~ That's exactly what i'v done with the lot. I'm going to take a crack at separating anything salvageable this weekend but am pretty sure all is lost.
Maiden~ You know it man, sent him an email apologizing this morning. I think he still has some stock left so i'll probably take another crack at them in a couple weeks.
Have a great day all wherever you may be!
