Beautiful plants Nolan. I especially love the ceph WALL. very very nice. I tried making it, but the moss took over and drowned the ceph. lol

It will take mine a few years to make it to that stage unfortunately. My seeds haven't arrived quite yet. Some of the crosses between those plants are going to be amazing though, I can't wait.
I'll try to post some specific location data with them this evening, my phone wasn't able to handle the bandwidth over lunchtime lol.

It's interesting what these plants actually grow in, compared to what works in cultivation. One of our members told me about a trip he took to Indonesia. "You know what neps really grow in? Dirt and decayed leaves and shit! Nothing special, just whatever's lying on the jungle floor"
From the photos above, it looks like the other plant roots make up most of the organic matter and keep the soil loose. But what are they using for nutrients? Maybe they fix all the nitrogen and keep the soil nutrient-free for the cephs.

Really good hypothesis. Looks to provide very good drainage that's for certain.

Sweet! Congrats ng.
I have to ask, will you put the seeds in cold strat or direct sow immediately?
