I assembled an order for a bunch of plants last night but when the $28 FedEx fee came up I abandoned it. Does anyone in Toronto want to do a group order?

Super psyched about the plants I was getting and the shipping cost made me cry. I'm in Richmond Hill, I'd be happy to join on a group order with you. Problem is, I leave for a cottage this Saturday.

I figured they were going out of business when I saw the 75% off sale. It's too bad. Of course, I'm flat broke and can't order anything.

my weird mom and gf talking about cephs being std plants cuz there close to the name of a std ? Haha, first we have the Heli herpes and now your mom and gf have created/ coined the Cephalotus syphilis... I knew these plants could spread like a rash, if they got into a collection... ...but who knew they would be so infectious? dvg

Just a little food for thought, if people are buying plants from a business that's going out of business don't be surprised by any problems. Chances are they'll be good plants but it they are selling out everything that means someone has to get the crappiest plants.

I know... I bought a bunch of VFTs and their ceph and ended up paying almost the entire price of the plants for shipping.

I might be interested in a group order. Moi aussi. IMO, if they could have gotten the same breaks on shipping as HB they'd still be in business. Their customer service was excellent.

Received my plants today.
Nice plants, perfect shape.
You're right G, shipping cost is an issue. I was looking to sell some stuff on eb and wasn't able to give a decent price because of the shipping cost. If you also add handling fee, it raise quickly. Canadian shipping fees are high.

I would be shocked if they did all the plants in one lot. No one would want to buy that many and they wouldn't get nearly as much money. Lots of a couple hundreds plants would make more sense.

Its sad that they are completely closing their business.. Their shipping prices were insanely high...but OMG..the plants look spectacular. I never had seen better packaging for VFTs. They look spectacular. Shame that shipping was 32$ for a 40$ order.

Figured. Wonder how much they got it for ..im assuming alot cheaper then they would have gotten it straight from urban bog ...cuz im assuming urban bog went to hawian botanicals before the auction stuff to see of they wanted to buy it clean and quick
