I wanted to make a nice little living room display piece with a Cephalotus follicularis. Here is what I have accomplished so far. I must say I did not expect it to go down this route. I thought it will definitely crash before getting here. I will hopefully update this thread with updates in the future.
Materials: Acrylic box with a hole drilled for drainage, ceph, media, lamp
3 months ago, added some red live sphagnum moss as a thin top dressing
Thanks for the great comments guys. I am still concerned about airflow and heat... so it may crash at any time if tolerance is exceeded. I am also planning on experimenting with a cooler light fixture... more compact and stylish. Will update when I build it.

I am surprised to see that I am still sticking with it myself. I would have never expected it. But I think as we all know, once a CP addict, always a CP addict. These plants are a great way to calm the mind when s*** hits the fan.
