Good point, I believe it mostly comes down to the browser (on my phone and on Safari its on the bottom and the top but I've had it only in the top in other browsers) but I'll do some research to try to get it more consistent.

I made a mistake in a poll, accidentally published it and now I don't know how to edit it.

Unfortunately the only thing you can do is edit your post, remove the poll and re-add the poll as you want it. Proboards doesn't support poll editing as far as I know.

We've added a new sticky to the General Plant Discussion board for any abbreviations we use on this forum. We've added a couple to get it started but would love peoples help adding more. ocps.proboards.com/thread/7351/canivorous-plant-abbreviationsAs always if there is anything you think we can do on this forum to make it better please let us know!

Idea?? Can the members section be set up to reflect the country they live in? Makes easier to chat with members about plants and growing conditions issues that are local.

Could there be a section set up for Local plants swaps to meet up with local growers? Help to advertise it and promote cps! Know I would be up to organize one local to me!

Hi hoyaplants, In the Board Discussions area > Introductions > Member Locations will help you some. There are quite a few in what I consider South Western Ontario. Should you ever come East to Ottawa there will be Hoyas for your pruning. grack

hoyaplants great ideas, we do have a section for members location like grackle said. We used to have a section for local meet ups but no one really used it, whenever people have local meets we typically just post it in the General Section. Maybe we could do a sub-board, I'll look into it!

FYI All new members will receive this message when they register. We hope that it will help welcome new members and help ease the learning curve of using this forum. Welcome to our Forum! Whether you’re a longtime grower, or a beginner with no plants, we hope that you will find our forum friendly and informative. Feel free to start a thread and introduce yourself so that the forum can get to know you. ocps.proboards.com/board/20/introductionsIf you’re feeling outgoing you can even share your location or find other local growers. Feel free to share as little or as much info as you would like here: ocps.proboards.com/thread/6388/members-locationTo save time many of our members use abbreviations of common things related to this hobby. This list is always growing but you can find explanations on most of the short forms here: ocps.proboards.com/thread/7351/canivorous-plant-abbreviationsAfter you’ve introduced yourself and have over 10 posts, the sales/trade section will be open to you. This is a great place to find deals (many times free things!) and grow your collection. Please be aware of whom you are dealing with at all times. We recommend dealing with trusted members; if in doubt contact any of the moderators and we can help you. Although the vast majority of people on this forum are great (we do our best to weed out all members that shouldn’t be dealt with) the OCPS, administrators, moderators and forum in general can not be held liable for any misdealing or problems between members. If you need anything at all or have any questions feel free to contact a moderator! Justin and the OCPS Team

Seeing as many of us like (some exuberantly) Ant Plants we added a section for them. I've moved the threads I know about but if you come across a thread that isn't in the section please bring it to our attention.
