hortsci.ashspublications.org/content/29/2/117.full.pdf There is a very good sketch of how the flowers grow and develop in this paper. I couldn't really decipher out the characteristic pea flower just by looking at the pictures of the inflorescences in the past, but seeing the sketch, I can tell now. It also looks like it's pretty easy to get pod set with seeds inside.

If the first seeds don't get pollinated naturally, I'll try to pollinate manually to get some seeds for you guys. I'm hoping the hummingbirds will like them.

Very nice. I'm half expecting this plant to have a carnivorous angle to it ;-)

Pea pods are growing. Who wants how many seeds? Note, these are big plants. Make a list in this thread.

Does it produce many seeds? I wouldn't mind 10 or so to give it a try. Thanks for keeping us all in mind!
H2O -10 seeds
Hal - 10 seeds

I have no idea how many seeds are produced. The pods are getting pretty big though.

Ian (hal) came by and I was inspired to check the pods, some duds then lots of seeds. I'll dry them out and then mail them. Justin-pm me your address again. Anybody else want any?
