Greetings, It's been a while since I was on the forum. A couple of years ago (early 2012), due to a degenerative problem in my neck, I had nerve damage that basically cut off the use of my right (dominant) arm, so I wasn't doing very much in terms of CP or other endeavours. That summer, with physiotherapy, I started to get some use of the arm back, and presently, I have full mobility, but limited strength in that arm. Anyway, two summers ago, with the trees in my back yard becoming very large and overgrown, I had to relocate my bog garden that was 12 years old, as it was only getting a couple of hours of sun per day. The new location was the front of my house, not very big - about 11' long x 3' wide and 18-24" deep. Fortunately, we're in a quiet location and there has been no vandalism, other than squirrels the odd time. Two springs later, everything is now grown in and it shows lots of promise with over 100 flowers coming up so far. I won't worry about the names, as the tags all got scrambled up from removing the pine mulch... I'll re-label everything later in the summer. Here are a few pics that I just shot: This is a cross between D. linearis and D. rotundifolia. I've had it for around 5 years now. It's had a tough start this year with rodents digging it up daily for a few weeks earlier on. Gotta go... the Memorial Cup final is on!!! >>> Rick <<<

Nice bog, it looks like it's about to put on a hell of a show!
I hope the garden provides you with enough opportunities to exercise your arm, it seems like a serene environment to do your physio.

Very nice bog.
That's very unfortunate what happened to your arm. Glad the physiotherapy has paid off and you can get back into the plant business!

It's awesome to have you back Rick! Your bog looks like it's growing in great, can't wait to see more pictures. If you ever have any extra of that hybrid we should work out a trade Also glad to hear that your arm is doing better.

...wow!!!, very impressive, good luck with your arm. I had a broken leg years ago, it really sucks when your body won't do what you would like it to.
Cheers!

Impressive work - damaged soft tissue in my right hand playing soccer 3 years ago, couldn't use it for months and fingers will not straighten fully (probably never will) so I salute your efforts! Glad to hear you're on the mend. I've learnt lots from your old posts, welcome back!!
