A few days ago I saw that my flava was about to open up so today I went out to check it out and I noticed some issues with... someone has been eating the insides of it. On further examination I found a friend of his... They look like cabbage caterpillars I think. The culprits were chopped up a little to kill them, then fed to the purp.

Waste not, want not! Wasps to feed on the caterpillars, wasps then feed the Sarrs :-)

You might have to spread out some reemay cloth until after Sarras have set seed.
Pesky little critters can cause much havoc quite quickly.
Good thing you caught them in time.
