Had a closer look at my two Darling seedling pots and just became aware that at least one seedling plant in each pot has made a mature pitcher.
That is less than a year since the seeds were sown back near the end of July in 2014.
Will have to post some pics soon.

Had meant to update this thread with some progress pics, but it hasn't happened yet, until now. The seeds from my Darlingtonia were sown last year on July 30, 2014. On August 27, I took some pics of the first seedlings to germinate. Wanted to post some pics of this because they are difficult to find online or were when I was looking for them. These seedlings are very fragile at this point and shouldn't be disturbed at all...just let them do their thing. Sept 26, 2014 Sept 28, 2014 This was my most robust seedling and it was eating stuff back then. Jan 26, 2015 And this is what it was feasting on mostly...fungus gnats and scariad flies. March 1, 2015 Here are the two pots that shared the seedlings. Was having a lot of slime mould on the surface and decided to transplant some sphagnum moss around the edges of each pot. And here is how one of the pots was looking today, August 7, 2015. dvg

Looking great dvg. Thanks for sharing. If you mist them with dilute orchid fertilizer they will grow like crazy
