Great plants and photos. Love the colour on the Helis. I think I'm going to have to get some T5HOs.

Very nice plants! Those helis are impressive. Hal mentioned you have HO lights; may I ask where you got yours? I was thinking of buying a fixture for my 'dews so I could keep them a little further from the lights while letting them flower more easily.
I'm also curious about your Sarracenia and flytraps. Are you growing some during winter indoors and putting them into dormancy during the summer? Good way to enjoy them year round!

Are you growing some during winter indoors and putting them into dormancy during the summer? Good way to enjoy them year round! thanks i use sunblaster, you can buy some at sunblaster.com or in any hydroponic store The mature sars and vft pictures was from last summer. The others one are seedlings or very young plants. I skip the first dormancy for faster growing. All the plants you see are cultivated in terrariums, in 100% artificial conditions. The vfts and sars are Inside terrariums, at 80% relative humidity. Each october/november i just open a window in my 'greenhouse' (a room in my appart i use only for plants) and the plants go dormant into the terrariums. Once they are asleep, i just put the pots into the fridg at 3C in sealed plastic bags with 15ml of water until april. so... my fridg is full of plants right now, and a little bit of food for me ! Im crazy i know

Insane plants. What was the Genlisea? Is that a 5 tepal Heli flower? This is the place I bought T5HO fixtures/bulbs/ballast. Very good prices, I think delivery too. The website seems a bit weird today, used to be more useful. www.greenbirdes.com/

Hello sir If i understand your question, Genlisea is a carnivorous plant from brazil who eat microscopic insects in the ground by catching them with chimical odors. Its pretty unique. Its a semi-aquatic plant. For the heli flower, pulchella have much bigger flowers than minor or nutans, for example. Its pretty impressive!

Those are some great photos! Thanks for sharing. I generally don't like Dionaea cultivars but I really liked the D.'charlie mandon spotted' and 'Red Star'

Great pictures Maiden. The colors are awesome. With a little editing (removing the back light), your 1st pic will easily do the terra calendar this year I pic of your full set-up would be nice to see too.

Hey Francois. I just got the same pack of DBW and fed a few to my cephs, helis and neps. I even put small ones and fed my straggly little VFT red seedlings that never grew too much at all in 5y. still less than a cm in diameter. Fingers crossed.
