Hi all - For those of you interested in winter growing/summer dormant sundews like I am, I wanted to let you know that there are some good D. alba seeds available right now! They are fresh harvested this season from their most abundant location and Silverhill is a reliable company - I buy seeds from them every year. They told me they really do have a limited supply, so they'll likely go quickly. It's not common to be able to get many seeds of this species because in habitat it rarely seeds. This year was a really good year for this species because large swaths of its habitat burned last year and the rains went late enough for them to produce a good seed set. Silverhill is responsible, not taking too many from any one location, and has permits.

Thanks for the heads up! That'll go nicely in a collection of Cape dews.

I'm not interested in the D. alba, but thanks for the website link! I bookmarked it. Wild seeds are always cool instead of having the same clone of a species for some genetic variation.

Yep, good site Apoplast. Thank you. Do you already have D. alba going on ? I didn't find the time to post a picture yet but I have a R. dentata growing from seeds coming from there
