Grew these P. agnata out from seed. They all turned out to be quite similar in appearance. This plant is the darkest of the batch. Both pots together. dvg

Those are really interesting dvg and obviously very happy plants. I've never seen an agnata with that much colour. What are the flowers like?

Yep, really nice color there !
Do you give them the same amount of light you give to your other pings ? Do you have a common ping for comparison ?
Tks for sharing.

Those are incredible! So dewy and red! Every time I see your ping pics, they make me want to go on a Pinguicula shopping spree.

Thanks for your comments. Those are really interesting dvg and obviously very happy plants. I've never seen an agnata with that much colour. What are the flowers like? The flowers are what one would expect from P. agnata, light blue coloring from mid petal through on to the outer petal edges, yellowish throat opening with and/or without some blue splotching around the flower opening, all on a background of white. Yep, really nice color there ! Do you give them the same amount of light you give to your other pings ? Do you have a common ping for comparison ? Tks for sharing. Thanks Shogs, yeah i grow them right in among the other mexi-pings. dvg

Hi DVG - Wow, you weren't kidding. Those are absolutely "typical" agnata flowers. Makes the plants all the more surprising in my opinion.

Nice flower DVG.
Do you wait for the stygma flap to lower before trying any pollination ? I find out it take a very long time before we can see the flap and I didn't succeeded in my last attempt.
Tks
