Some people are curious to see how it is, so here we go:
Here is the stove to dry autoclaved materials such as petri dishes, filter papers etc.:

The culture medium must be sterile and case of contamination it has to be sterilized again to be discarded. I use discarded media as fertilizer for trees. Here is the autoclave to autoclave culture medium, and contaminated material:

The culture medium requires distilled water, I've done the test with tap water and it did not work ... The surplus water is captured by the bucket and serves to wash material, clean the lab and bathroom and to water plants. All the waste is picked up and goes to a biodigester. Images of the distiller:

The culture medium has salts and vitamins to be weighed and pH of the medium should be adjusted. Here's image precision balance and pH meter:

The sterile culture medium should be handled in a sterile, for that use the laminar flow hood:

The material to be inoculated in the culture medium must be sterile so I use diluted sodium hypochlorite, but often it is not enough to kill germs. here it is a lot of culture medium contaminated by this and other reasons:

When it works the material goes to the culture room with controlled temperature and photoperiod because of the experiments:

I've done many stuff in the laboratory, one of my favorites was this:

The view through the lab is beautiful, even when the job is cleaning out stuff:

More details of the beautiful sunset through the window:

Sometimes I see something a little closer then use the stereoscope:

Sometimes I still want to see microscopic structures and photograph them:
