Hi all, just a question on the above... Do CP's still utilize light While in the dormancy stage?

I don't think it needs light during dormancy. I heard that people with vft's just stick them in a cold dark place. I'm new to growing CP, so you might want to wait for someone else to confirm my beliefs before you do anything. Take my words like a grain of salt.

O Bonfield told me this if you have your plant outside in a container wait till it's already dormant then put it in the refrigerator / cold and dark place

Alright, good to know. When I get mine, I'll probably just keep it indoors unless it's a nice sunny day outside, then I'll bring it out.

Ok, thanks for those ideas. I may even try using the garage, since it really never freezes in there, but it's usually dark with a small window. Thanks!

My garage is the same and it works fine. The temperature should hover around -3 to +3 C. Keep the plants uncovered to avoid mould if the temperature spikes in warm spells.
