I was going to use the holes as drainage so that it doesn't flood when it rains here (I'm on the wet coast), but I'm not too sure how deep I should have them relative to the soil. www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4iRAtNcDB0

It's looking amazing lucst! I'm jealous. My purp is just starting to put out it's first leaves and the flower stalk is only about 6" tall.

Nice plants. The rubra looks like an Iris with all the phyllodia.
