Hi gang,
I have two byblis liniflora in my terrarium. They are flowering but the petals just open a little bit so I can see the anther. The flower don't fully open. After some time, the petals fall and there's a small pod. I let a pod dry on the leave then I opened it and it was empty ... byblis is not supposed to be self-pollinating ?
So can somebody figured out why it does this ? The temp in the terra is 18 C night and 28 C day. RH near 95% and I bring fresh air everyday by opening it.
Thanks

For a 2X2X4 terrarium with white glossy walls, there's 3X 54W T5HO. They are near 8 inches of these plants top. My pings and drosera are flowering well in there even if they are farther from the light. With 4X T5, everything was burning.

My one Byblis was growing slowly until I fed it some freeze dried bloodworms 2 or 3 times. Then it had a growth spurt and is flowering steadily.

Ok, I feed it when it was small and it grows very well. I think I did not feed it in the last 2 months. I'll try that. Thanks Lloyd.
