I got gemnae from brad 2 times already...none of them germinated. Though in the same conditions,... vinc's gemnae germinated... I guess I have no luck with scorpiodes gemnae. P.Primuliflora... no sweat bro! its yours! . If you want one too jay...don't hesitate to ask.

I removed my 3 neps from there. I'll wait till they get acclaimatised. I don't want to be too excited. I just cut off the rajah's dried pitcher. It felt like I was cutting a blood vessel of mine. The nice proportion is lost...the nice star shape with 5 leaves has become 4.

I hope you don't have dreams of giant sentient nepenthes cutting off your arms and legs as they turn brown and soft..........

Lol Vraev! Your taking things too seriously! Man! Its a plant... Plants either live or die and they have their peaks and their lows... Don't beat yourself up for that and the plant is acclimatisized when it starts to grow so the rajah didn't start any leaves yet? Cya

nope! no leaves on the rajah. The ramispina is numb too. The bical if anything has atleast a little change. The topmost leaf or the growing tip has TITLED towards the light source. But this has been like this for a while. I have also fed the bical a small ant, a small light fly. They are gone. SO i guess its only time before which it bounces back. I guess its enjoying the high temperatures. This thing seems to be a lowland heaven. The miranda is going wild too. The ventrata has slowed in pitcher growth..but leaf growth is fine. Miranda is wild with pitchers and leaves. And to think of it..the miranda is in peat moss + perlite I think Basically the concern is the highland neps. Also a bit of good news. The red dragon looks like its recovering. New traps look perfect. And all the VFT's new traps...even the B52 are in perfect proportion...very rigid and nicely shaped. They are nice and long as should the leaves when VFTs get good light.

well...tahts all left for me now. I will just hope for the best. damn! I wasn't this paranoid even when I started with the VFT's. There is just something with that rajah....I am mesmorized by even a small specimen of it. having the size of what I have makes me humble in its presence.

You want to know what it is? People tell you thjat a Rajah is hard, In some cases its true but maybe that you don't know yet that you have the IDEAL conditions for it but its still in shock... Thats why I say That you souldn't worry too much... Cya

well! one thing is for sure though,....the second pitcher is also drying up. BUT, the growth point...the new growing shoot thingy...its still slowly turning. So, I think all isn't lost. THe ramispina hasn't even moved. I guess because its busy forming roots or something. There were absolutely no roots on that thing. However, all the leaves and pitchers are still nice and green. I am guessing that its not going downhill. If it was, there would be blackening...atleast in the old leaves. I am also thinking that the rajah pitchers blackening...is becos the pitchers are too soft now as they rest on this soggy pure LFS media. I guess "IF" new ones form, as you guys mentioned, they should be adapted to this. Well! Leaves first. then hopefully pitchers.
