Those are some breath-taking shots! I wish I had your talent to raise winter-growing dews, or at the very least to take these kinds of pics! By the way, what kind of sand/gravel are you using to simulate laterite?

A wonderful treat for the eyes My trinervia Bainskloof looks quite different and just illustrates the variation this species can display even within the same general locale!

Hi, thanks for the nice comments everyone! bonfield: I am not using anything special. This is just a sort of quartz sand, that can be bought without problems here in germany. This kind of sand is actually produced as a ground cover for fish aquariums. Honestly i do not even know if there is something different available, as this sand has always done a good job to me. I am using this in two different sizes, one of them which is just microscopic and the other one is the size you see in the picture. I try to make the substrat quite sandy. Sometimes i also add a bit of perlite. Christian
