Not sure about lowes, but I know the american stores tend to carry them. I also know that home depot carries the colisanties line with the occassional one from costa farms. Sib

I agree with Syble. Home Depot in Kitchener-Waterloo have carried N.Ventrata, S.leocophylla, Drosera Aliciae and Drosera Capensis. Many gardening centers get VFT's now and then.

Well if your talking about rona, I must admit I have never seen a CP in there. The ones I have visited seam to carry mostly foliage tropicals, cacti and bromilliads. Sib

I've seen a case of sickly VFTs at the Rona near my house but nothing else in over a year.

If I remeber right, two years ago I had seen S. Purpurea, may be even Venosa (fat short red pitchers) in Rona at Warden, below Eglinton East, but never seen them since then. May be they not carry them anymore or I just can't catch right time. I had good luck with seeds, you may try sometimes, they were $2 per 10 seeds on E-Bay, or forum members can have seeds.

Grow Wild should have some S. purpurea this spring. I know they were working on getting some to a large enough size for sale.
