Hi Folks, not sure if I previously posted these pics taken a few months ago - anyway thought you would like to check out the action... H. pulchella Akopan - a difficult but beautiful form - tends to inexplicably rot in my experience H. pulchella Amuri - this colorful, very hairy form is relatively easy to grow but could use a shave once in a while H. nutans Kukenam Tepui- typical nutans form that puts up large elegant pitchers. An easy plant - highly recommended. H. heterodoxa Gran Sabana - another beautiful plant for beginner and veteran growers alike Close up of the H2O overflow slit (inside view) Great growing, cpgeek

Thanks guys for your feedback!
Shoggoths, I grow all my helis indoors. My one experiment with H. minor outside was a resounding disaster - I think conditions (ie, temps) fluctuated too much for their liking. Tall or easy species like nutans, heterodoxa, neblinae, tatei var tatei and minor grow welll by a window under my conditions and get SW exposure from noon onward for most of the day. All others grow in an unheated section of the basement under T8 tubes and seem to do slightly better than by the window.
Cheers, cpgeek
