I received this Pinguicula species from CZ Plants, back in June, 2008 labeled as P. kondoi. But it seems that the real P. kondoi, according to some experts, is not really in cultivation, and what is labeled as such is actually P. reticulata. Either way, this is still a very nice mexi-ping. This plant has been kept very dry over the last few months, as evidenced by the dried out moss surrounding this plant's rosette. I started watering it again a couple of weeks ago, and gave it a taste of some tropical springtails yesterday, which should serve to further whet its appetite for more live prey. dvg

A nice looking plant. Do you find that CZ plants is a good supplier? How's shipping and fees?

Thanks for the comments guys!
I did find that CZ Plants was a very good supplier.
Their communication was great and their fees were reasonable.
Shipping was 4 to 10 days, depending upon how soon Canada Customs cleared the shipment.
CZ Plants always took good care of me and helped me to build the bulk of my collection when i was first starting out.

These mexi-pings crowded into this 4" pot were from leaf pullings taken back in 2015. They look like they want to divide and then flower. dvg

Thanks Shoggoths, none of them are dividing...
...but one is sending up a flower stalk.
