like the others its proteins, probably insects proteins. Fish (well in my pond) usually feeds on spiders, roaches, ants and stuff, therefore their food as to be made or protein which they can assimilate, lucky for us (cp lovers) our plants are eating that too

Yeah,
That's why I wanted to know. The pellets at the shop near my home are made of : Whole Fish Meal (Whole salmon, herring & other mixed fishes), Whole Wheat Flour, Whole Dried Krill, Wheat Gluten Meal ... so no insects.
And there's some that the first ingredient is bloodworms.
I don't know which could give the best results.

bloodworms for sure, as far as i know, bloodworms are insects However if you cant find proper pellets fish flakes are giving good result too!

Folks have been feeding their CPs betta (aka Siamese fighting fish) pellets with success for a while now.
I have also been feeding my Nepenthes pitchers with the sinking koi pellets...i guess there are also the floating pellets, but i thought those might contribute more to fungal growth.
The fish pellets seem to keep the Neps happy, but there are a few other ways i feed my Neps, including coffee, foliar and soil fertilizing and releasing live flightless fruit fly cultures onto the plants themselves.

Most sinking koi food is medicated.. With hi levels of bifuran. Not sure I would feed that to my neps. Hikari and dianichi are top grades.. Anything all season is wheat germ based protien, also not the best source of protien for colour.
edit: sorry I was on my phone at the hospital when I started this response. Good Koi food will consist of krill, shrimp, whitefish, spirulina alge and wheat flours.. this is a good mix of growth and colour formula for Koi. Wheat germs and brewers yeast are good for growth and "packing on the pounds for winter" Some of the foods contain vitamins for fin and blemish repair in the spring as well, and some are geard to colour enhancement.
I am quite interested in the idea of koi food for Neps, and wonder if the different reasons for variation will transfer from fish to plant.

mine does contain Krill protein (first ingredient) that is probably why i am getting good result feeding the neps with it

sounds like it makes sense. I have started feeding a colour enhancing koi pellet to my neps. I wish I had 2 of the same size and species to conduct a small experiment to see if this will actually enhance the colour of thier pitchers.

Hello! Jeannie once told me years ago of a client who fed their nepenthes Koi pellets. This was about a decade ago. I have been doing this ever since (for the last decade or so). I get a nice quality koi pellet. They seem to be doing quite well on this diet of pellets and whatever critters they or I catch. I also sometimes, to the chagrin of the missus, make lil fruit fly factories near my cp's. My drosera plants always win, but the neps and pings still enjoy a good meal/change of diet.
