Hi guys,
I am seriously interested in making a MT order to get some of their plants either before the snow sets in or early during next spring. However, I do need to get all the paperwork necessary. Shipping costs around 90$ US and export paperwork from MT's side is another 50$.
I guess to make it more efficient, I think a group order is the best way to do this.
If any of you guys are interested, definitely let me know.
Do keep in mind that as with all group orders, I will need the money upfront and in advance before placing the order. Based on few experiences in the past, unless I get the money, YOUR PLANTS WILL NOT BE ORDERED. I had enough of a time begging for money that people owe me. I will be ordering with my CC.
cheers,
Varun

Thanks Syb. But does using your permit mean the plants will come directly to you first? or can I use my address + Is the import permit limited to imports from only one country or can I use it for other countries as well?

Awsome!! The more the people, the more reasonable it will be shipping/person. So keep em coming. I will start my paperwork for my own import permit soon (within this week).

sorry guys but i'm going to withdraw from this for the time being. I've made some recent purchases and I'm don't think i will be participating in this group buy. The reshipping costs after it arrives in ontario isn't going to make this worthwhile for me being on the west coast. sorry guys.

I'd be in, although I wish it can be for next spring so I could gather enough money and prepare in advance! That nursery has pretty awesome plants at great prices!

Well....I don't mind shipping anywhere within canada...ofcourse you all realize that you guys will be paying for shipping to you after the plants reach me as well.
Naah! The price isn't outdated. The hamata is 150$. I did request for a current prices and it is indeed 150$. Lets wait and see. Although the concern being about the timing of the order. As Syb mentioned, it might be a bit late and It may be safe to wait till spring, but I will still go ahead and start paperwork for the permit and see how I can pace it. If things move along fast and if MT can guarantee safe arrival, I don't mind getting plants in winter.

Hi guys,
I have decided that based on the paperwork approval and the way the weather si going, I think its better to wait till March 2011 for actual shipping of the plants. So definitely, save up some money for then. This order is going to happen and I am looking forward to do my first group order from MT. THey have fanastic selection of plants at some great prices and I am sure they will be great quality.
