Right now the cucumeris are swarming the plants. They're all over the leaves and the growth points, hopefully massacring the thirps . If these dont work I'l try the solutions you all recommended.

hey guys... i just want to bring this topic back up as the thrips had just returned for me as well unfortunately after recieving some neps/dews from Cole (bonfield). Cole's plants had no thrips in it... just saying that the thrips returned just in time for new plants. I had purchased 5 mil nematodes (S.feltiae) about a month ago and have done about 3 treatments total once a week. I noticed a major reduction in population but i catch about 3-4 everyday. I also caught the newly hatched ones and used tape to get rid of them. There were about 50 of them. I must ask... is neem oil truly effective in ridding every single one of them inside the grow room? Yes!!! Neem will kill them all, just remember to do it at regular intervals and make sure you don't miss a spray or you'll have to start again. Also remember that some thrips have a very short life cycle, some around 5 days so doing a weekly cycle will do nothing. As Lloyd always suggests, use Al Bickles neem recipe.

Hey guys just a little update... i decided to start my neem oil regiment and also cleaned out my entire greenhouse. I noticed a great decrease in bug activity and the plants seem to show a "bouncing back" type reaction. I guess just a good solid application.. determination and re treatments are needed to get rid of these critters...
Happy Growing All!
