www.youtube.com/watch?v=9KPWKgZEPB4I was talking funny cos the camera mic gets blown out really easy by my voice especially when I am holding the cam in my face one S. flava flower and a bunch of bolting pitchers. I couldn't get pics to look like anything, and the sundews and Pings are in hard-to-shoot places but they are indeed in there too- this one has no huge windy-noise in it either

That's a very natural looking bog Mabs, I'll be waiting for your updates.

What a nice start to Spring! Are the pitchers S. oreophila?

petmantis- The only pitchers you can really see are right next to the one open flower, they are from the "giant form" of S. flava "Coppertop" and are maybe 20 inches tall at the moment
hackerberry- almost TOO natural, I plan on ripping out most of that non-carnivorous green business and replacing it with fresh peat- I have 3 more Sarrs (maybe 10 actual plants but 3 different types) to drop in there and I don't want sedge etc crowding out what I have in there already

I agree with the others that your sarrs are growing in a very natural looking environment. It won't be long now until thjings are really poppin' open there. But your voiceover on the vid was reminding of Bill Murray's Groundskeeper character in 'Caddyshack'. ;D dvg

Glad you folks liked it- since I took it a LOT has happened, the light right now is really lousy but hopefully the clouds will disperse before too long and I can get an updated look at it, the pitchers are inflating and ready to open, by this time tomorrow several should be fully formed and in action

Sounds good Mabs. I always like to see what's flowering and popping up next out of the Mr. Turtle.

This I shot today, you can see the first open pitchers on S. flava, plenty of flowers of both S. flava and S. rubra and a bunch of other pitchers popping up. DVG- I didn't add anything for "scale" just yet cos I didn't want to hurt the pitchers, they are sensitive at this stage and I didn't want to deform or ruin them by accidentally hitting the cage. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HS4WYRnU70Q

Haha Mabs, I finally got to see the vid you posted after close to a one hour download with my dialup connection...good thing I'm patient.
Wow, those are really growing for you and have put on quite a bit of new growth since your last update. The flowers look great and I could see from the video that those pitchers are getting up there, with some nice height to them.
Thanks for sharing your bog with us.
