That's surely good news for you Mark!
I've had thrips in my plants before, but they didn't seem too harmful to the plant's overall health and in time they just seemed to disappear.
Two to three Neem oil sprayings per year seems to keep most of those baddies at bay in my conditions.

After 3 days of application.. I was not able to find a single trace of thrips on any of my plants. Hurrah! I don't want to jump the gun... but its almost safe to say i won the war! I'll be keeping a close eye for at least a month and see if i did truly win this war. I'll get back to you after a week's time. Now that the thrips have buggered off... I am looking to replace my D. regia that i lost to these critters. Anyone have a beautiful specimen for trade? dvg Those thrips probably didn't like the neem oil too much Cheers gang!
