Hey everyone I just wanted to throw this out there! I was still searching for a plant hormone to get dormant shoots/nodes on nepenthes to wake up (I did get some stuff from Lloyd and misplaced it till today so I am going to try that). Anyway I was searching for a few hours on end for where to get the product Keikigrow plus which is used commonly by orchid growers to do just such as I was looking for. I stumbled across this site www.orchidmall.com/hormones/keikiprd.htm and emailed a gentleman named Jim. He got back to me telling me he has tried it on his Nepenthes with some results (although he did say that simply trimming the plant seems to work best) I am eventually going to give this product a go on my neps that I would love to get extra vines on to produce cuttings. Just figured I would post this in case someone was intrested in getting some at a reasonable price.

Thanks for that link Rug. It is always good to be able to decide when to make some more offsets from plants, rather than waiting for mother nature to finally get around to it...especially if she is being tardy about it.
Btw, if you have a N. albomarginata Kuching spotted(the purplish/black colored one) and do manage to get some nodes activated on that one, I'd be interested in one. I'm pretty certain I might have something to trade you in exchange for it.

Yup I have one and will give it a shot on a few of my neps to see what results I have and keep that in mind!
