how weak? is it normal for the flower to grow so much slower then the pitchers? Thanks Sib

Sib, It can even be full strength, but just put a few drops into each open pitcher... during normal periods i like to use fish pellets. To be extra safe, 1/4 strength would give you a wide margin of error.
ummm haven't ever really paid attention to developmental speed, but seems like they take their time

that is fantastic plant! Do you find some helis to be more tempermental then others? I'm really likeing this plant now that i can grow it without killing them. I've got the standards (nutans(the flower bud one), heterodoxa, and a couple minors) can you recomend others that should be relatively simple? I don't have ultra highlander conditions. Thanks Sib

Yes, there is definitely some easier then others. The H. 'Tequila' clones are about as good as it gets (if you can find one), My H. tatei is also an easy grower and so is my H. tatei var. nebinae x hispida. However, most struggle with it. I would recommend a tequila, and any of the hetero/minor hybrids such as hetero x minor or minor x hetero... and tatei Different clone: Briar
