Pet, it's always a good idea to tempt the gods with a sacrificial offering from time to time, just to ensure that they still are even paying attention to us anymore, and haven't indeed dozed off, gone on vacation or left us to some equally worst fate. Indeed, sacrifices are good, just look at dvg's plants, only at the cost of a few missing neighbours around dvg's vicinity. They can't resist being lured into his basement with fresh baked apple pie, and a lead pipe in the other hand. Hahaha Carn. Now you know why the bog has to get dug out bigger each year. One just never has a big enough bog. ;D

Here it is.. my friend helped me a bit with the last little section. I'm getting plants for it soonsih, in a month or so. I have to get liner and protection and stuff... anyone have any hints on protectiona dn how to put the liner in?

hey everyone, my mom wants to know.. ad I want to know, what kind of liner we should use and how to protect it. Thanks. You can buy pond liner from a pond supply store, or garden center at a bog box store. Even better, get used pond liner for free from a pond supply store, since it generally is expensive...

Go to a pool store and ask them for a liner when they are pulling one out! They are often glad to have you pull it away for them.

I just got the peat delivered, but I'm worried. It doesn't look like real peat. And now that I think of it, I ordered peat, not peat moss. Is tere a difference? here are the pics: it seems to have lots of sand in it... if it isn't right, I'm not getting more. this is my only choice right now.
