It was suggested that I try to grow an epiphite on the back wall of my terrarium. I did some research and found the u.nelumbifolia is a good candidate for a beginner. Does anyone have any experience with this particular species, or have seeds to grow some?? Thanks

U nelumbifolia isnt the easiest epiphyte utric, and a lt of grower grows it in sphagnum slurry. A more easy and avised choice would be U. alpina, perhaps U. endresii, and U. longifolia although it grows more as a terrestrial.
I might have some of them/each available by this spring

Well I guess it is true that you can't believe everything you read on the internet! Glad I have a panel of experts here to steer me in the right direction.I will go back and research the u.alpina and longifolia.Due to the fact that these are more terrestrial,is it possible to train them to climb a wall?

U. longifolia can really overgrow and be messy. U. alpina is neater.

I also belong to the Orchid Board, and have nothing but praise for the All Mighty Orchid!! They are truely some of the world's most facinating creations, however having just seen a couple hundred utricularia flowers, you have to admit ,it's a draw!
