they are all the same:
60 - 70% perlite and 40-30% peat. I do throw in some remnants of nep mixes like charcoal or bark if I do have remnants. Its not necessary. The key is good drainage. For the cuttings...I would go for a higher peat percentage. Perhaps 50:50% peat and perlite will cut it. You never ever want it to dry out. Thats the key here.

WooHooo!
Update. I cut the root into 3 pieces and put it in 50/50 peat perlite and now each piece has multiple growth points.
Thanks for all your help, everyone.

Good to hear Hal! I did a bunch of repotting for mine about a month ago now. Kinda like yours Hal, my pitchers started shrivilling and dieing off, but I left it. I tried some leaf cutting and, by accident, root cuttings. No leaf cutting survived, but the root cuttings hit really easy and makes lots of little plants Most of the ones I repotted have their main growth point and one or two on the sides already. Mine are in 2 perilte 2 peat 1 sand, works well for me. Anywho, with that blabber, I think root cuttings are the way to go with these guys.

Thanks. So what's next. Should I wait for a bit more growth then pot up each piece individually? There are leaves and small roots coming off the rhizome pieces.

Let 'em go for a bit Hal, they just came back from the other side, if they're happy enough let them gain some strength before moving them I would think

Thanks everyone. I'll leave them be for a bit. I think some of the tiny leaves are actually tiny pitchers!
