Hal: With the proper mulching, then you should have a good chance of them surviving.....However, just to be safe, I would over-winter them in the fridge

Vft's are 'small enough' that you can just stick em in a Ziploc® sandwich bag with a little substrate around the rootball, and over-winter at the back of your fridge, making sure the setting NEVER goes below freezing. Like milk, if it freezes, it's not good... I did it with the following: Vft typical, dente, akai ryu sarrs: dana's delight, purpurea ssp. purpurea Darlingtonia California I just cut everything at just above root level, it was a really hard thing to do, but otherwise, how the heck can you fit full grown sarrs in a fridge... well, i know ONE person that's crazy enough to sacrifice his WHOLE fridge... he knows who he is
