I just looked at my Aldrovanda fish tank, and notice that the largest traps are catching... snails! I have tons of those small critters eating algae here and there. The plants grew well and fast without feeding but i guess the plants found one by themselves
Yes they're in the traps, making nice hors d'oeuvres (good one!) It's funny since they have been growing in this tannk for a while and they never catched anything, and since 2 day, there is at least 4 catches... I guess the larger traps are in cause, and probably since the plants are nearer one side of the aquarium, where the snails can climb over them. but i wont complain, free food is free food

dont worry lloyd, they should be yours shortly, but they aren't that easily to kill if you can keep algae at bay. Starting an aquaria/fish tank ahead with plants to pump up excess nutrient will help a lot, especially if the aquaria have the time to 'cycle'
