I just got my order too! I got some great plants, and a extra sarr.
I do hope these truncata seedlings are hardened for the terrarium. Maybe I will put mine under a plastic dome for now just to be safe.

Hi All, I also received some CP from Jeanie of HB on Wednesday. I was utterly astounded when I opened the package. In my 30 years of collecting CP, I couldn't recall ever receiving such high quality, robust plants - from anyone! There was a huge clump of P. moctezumae in full flower. Absolutely stunning. I also received a beautifully heavy veined clone of S. flava ornata with pitchers > 50 cm and a large S. alata "Red Tube" with almost purple pitchers. I would be also very hard pressed to recall the last time I dealt with such pleasant folk. They also carry a large variety of CP and are very reasonably priced for the high quality of merchandise. I would highly recommend them for your next purchase. I'll try to post some pics soon! Happy growing, Rob

yeah!! I got to re-add and praise HB for the plants they sent. Its very very thoughtful of Jack and Jeanie to send me such beautiful plants and especially that bonus with my interests in mind. I haven't gotten plants from many places but I got to say...HB has provided the best set of them ever. Very very nice and I look forward to ordering from them again in the future. Both Jack & Jeanie are also very pleasant and helpful to speak to. Top customer satisfaction!!

I am a newbie here, but have visited Hawaiian Botanicals a few times. I am lucky to live here in Vancouver and just a short drive to their nursery. You could spend hours there.Jeanie was really wonderful, and answered all my questions.I will be going there again next week to select a few new additions to my viv. ;D

You're quite fortunate to be able to visit Hawaiian Botanicals so easily. Jack and Jeanie are such friendly folks, I'm going to have to plan a trip down there for a visit.
As for lowlanders for your vivarium, N. campanulata stays quite small, and N. northiana get by with and actually prefers lower light levels. Although N. northiana will get quite large, it is slow growing, so it will take a while and can stay in your vivarium for quite some time, before it outgrows it. The N. rafflesiana giant '99 clone' is also very nice, and it's reddish burgundy leaves and purplish colored pitchers would make a nice addtion to your viv. You can probably also look for and include intermediate Neps as another plant option for your viv.
Almost all Nepenthes will eventually outgrow your vivarium, so you should only plan on having them in there during their rosette stage. In time they will all vine themselves out of their grow space. But they will look very nice in there while they are still on the smallish side.

Yes it is good to live so close and not have to stress over shipping. There is still a good selection of all varieties that arrived in the October shipment,so I will look at the suggestions you made and see how that goes.I see now how this can become quite addictive
