I thought I'd share this pic, because these juvenile pitchers, for some reason, remind me of harpies and other species of birds of prey. This Heli is a Wistuba clone.

Oh man! those are SO cool! They look like they have a little punky mohawk too hehe. Cute! I think they're the coolest immature pictures I've seen.

They look like they have a little punky mohawk too hehe. Thanks Tael! You're killin' me with that comment, though. Only through an artist's eyes, I guess.

Hehe, you're welcome!
All your plants have such character, I think you ought to give them names!

That plant seems content to spread out, making small clumps of juvenile pitchers as it makes its merry way across its pot's surface. No mature pitchers yet, but hopefully one day soon.

No worries: the more immature pitchers produced, the more mature pitchers will be produced one day (as long as something terrible doesn't happen and most of the growth points die )

Nice plant Doug. It will be quite a handsome specimen in maturity! H. hispida, a fellow Cerro Neblinan, also seems to have this tendency to form clumps. I have more plants which are all doing well but they seem to be stuck with only juvenile pitchers and I've had the mother plant for over 2 years! I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever see a mature pitcher Rob

Thanks Rob,
I'm finding the same growth pattern with my H. hispida...lots of juvenile pitchers, with nary an adult in sight.
Patience....
Doug
