I would not let it sit in water for too long, but i've never grown n. hirsuta. Maybe someone else could confirm.

Good to hear Brian! You might want to watch the water level as these don't like sitting in water. Nice setup for it though

I know, I watered the pot and it is still draining so the pebbles have too much. I will take care of that tomorrow.

Got plants today. They came on Friday, but I was not in at the time. Luckily, the Postal outlet at the Shopper's Drug Mart ten blocks from here is open on Saturday, so I was able to pick them up today. The plants are smaller then I am used to, babies and little pieces. I guess Keehn's and Hawaiian Botanicals have spoiled me.

I am proud to say that everyone has now recieved their packages! But I regret to say that we have 4 confirmed deaths in our new family... One utric, 2 VFTs and a aldrovanda (sp?). We have another for sure on the wounded list, a bical, that hopefully loving hands can heal. I'll e-mail CZ at the end of this coming week to make sure no more deaths have/are occuring. If you have any not listed above, let me know ASAP.

I'll keep this updated for those that might be interested in doing future group orders and havn't yet.
There are a total of 6 deaths from shipping, 7 if you include a free addition they sent. The owner of CZ is currently in Borneo on a CP expedition until May 20th. The e-mail has been sent to them to see what will happen next. I suspect either replacement plants to be sent, shipping and all to be at extra cost, or he'll refund the money. I'll see what he says and then get back to everyone and we can decide as a whole.
Cheers!

I heard back from CZ Plants. They are willing to re-send the plants with our "next order" or refund the money. I can't head up another group order right now. If anyone wants to head up another order, speak up for those wishing replacement plants. If not, then I'll look at getting the refund for the plants. Any comments or questions, please ask.

If you do order from czplants.com, do you have to pick up your order at the airport or does it get delivered right to your door?

You need an import permit, and the vendor have to provide you a phytosanitary certificate. Your parcell will be inspected at customs, and if everything is allright and legit, you will receive your plants at home.

...I purchased a Ceph from them, no paperwork, picked up my package at the post office, no problems. The Ceph I received was very healthy and I am happy to say that after dividing it up right away I now have 4 growing cuttings and the mother plant.
Happy Growing! Gabriel.
