Updated with some new Sarrs and a few plants that didn't make it through last winter have been removed. I have lots of pings on the way for trading and am always looking for more - particularly the Mexican species.

Updated. I've given away most of my drosera and neps and have way too many Mexican pings now. Soon I will probably give all of them away and get way too many of something else.
Just looking back through this thread and noting my excitement at D. capensis seeds sprouting! Oh to be young and keen again...

Nice pings list Hal.
Hey hey, I think we all go through this sometime. I also remember the first time I had d. capensis to sprout. I was so happy but now I’m also considering giving my ‘easy’ drosera.
Did your schiz happens to have flower yet ?
I found out I really like to pollinate flower. As soon as I know the plant isn’t fertile or that it will not give seeds, I rapidly loose interest in it.
I’m trying to grow some nepth but I don’t know what will come of them if I can't get them to flower.

Martin, my D. schizandra have flowered a few times but I haven't tried pollinating them. I have so many of them that I don't need the seeds and I haven't got the enthusiasm for pollinating plants that you do. I can understand it, though. When I used to keep tropical fish and dart frogs I was never satisfied with keeping a species until I bred and reared them.

Must be cool to bred dart frogs I was asking to know if they were getting enough light under your condition to flower. I would like mine to set seeds to give to our US friends like Apoplast but recently, I lowered the light amount a lot because my shiz were yellowing and getting smaller. Thanks for the answer.

The schizandra that I keep in really low light don't flower, and they get kind of long and leggy. If I put them right under my lights they go almost white and don't do so well, so I keep them on the end of the shelf where they get spillover from 4 x T8s but they aren't right underneath them.
