AArrg yeeup it is the 60 and it cant play PS2 games, you know what though i dont own ANY PS games at all since iv been goin with the other Nintendo systems my whole life. i never owned a PS or PS2. MY eye's are shot and in need some some new specticles but even my buddys dont notice the diffrence on my TV. Id maybe even say that DVD's played on xbox 360 are of better quality then bluray on the PS3 but there still both Crazy. LOL thats crazy talk eh I find gaming saves money in some cases, i often Spend to much money at the bar and wake up in rediqulous places with a empty wallet. and if you can get buddies over there are some good party games, Guitar Hero, which dont end up with you sleepin on your porch, keys in hand. last thing i need is a another addiction!! Ill have a gamin day once and a while, goodway to burn some time without burning the wallet, i think i know the silent hll you talkin bout they were scary games exspecially since i was much younger when i played them. the 360 live ables you to buy old classics like: Paperboy, Streetfighter, bomberman, and killer oldies like these which are always fun. well ill hafe to hookup my live and well get together online sometime boy's n girl's.

Aww, that's too bad. But I guess as long as you don't have any of the games that it can't play, that's not so bad haha. Yeah, I dunno, that's weird! Do you have an HDMI cord hooked up to your TV from your PS3? Cause you need one of those. You can get 'em pretty cheap at Walmart I think. Some of them are expensive but I don't think it makes a huge difference. The RocketFish ones are like 80 bucks but I don't think it's worth it... Oh yeah, nice! The PlayStation3 one has some old games maybe... I'm not sure. It has some neat ones by obscure companies that I enjoy. But yeah, go ahead and add me though i'm not on too much!

Honeslty ill chech stuff out again but i cant see a diffrence DVD seems as defined i remeber watching the hulk and being able to count the hairs on his face, Bluray if anyhitng has more vivid colours?? maybe slightly, but defintely not noticable better, the 360 seems 3D when watched?? i dont get that feeling when watching the bluray.
is this TV MotionFlow?? itd be noticable as there is a sticker indicating it on the front of the TV. Lastyears 60Hertz look identical to the new 120hertz sony LCD models. this 40" initial cost was 2100$
Resident evil for the Wii is great, aswell as the 360 version. FEAR was a jumpy game i though, it had its scary parts but it was more just action shooter forsure.

Hmm that's so bizarre! Well, I know my roommate had to buy an HDMI cable seperately, so if the person your bought it from hadn't had one then... that's why you're not getting a good picture. I really have no idea, all the stickers are gone from it. It's from last year. It's a Samsung though. Is MotionFlow a Sony brand thing? I admittedly don't know a heck of a lot about TVs.

Hmm that's so weird that you're not noticing a difference. Though some blurays are bad rips, and they are not really high quality... maybe try playing with the settings on your TV, make sure it's 1080P (and not defaulting 720 for some reason)? I dunno hehe.

Aww... that sucks, vraev. I played Fear... it was okay. But I wasn't inclined to finish it because I didn't really find it scary... Fear wasn't scary. THe only great thing about it was the whole "WHat the hell?" moments along with AMAZING AMAZING AI.

Wow! nice gamelist Rug. Seriously dude.....you should get GTA 4. Its a game every adult should experience. its just freaking awsome. you can get 40 hrs + of playtime. Fallout 3 is fun as well. NHL 2k9 is also a great game and I wanted to get fifa 09 as well.
Sawchuck...seriously dude...there is a big difference to dvd and Blu ray. DVD resolution is 640 x 480 or a little bit higher. 1080p is 1920 x 1080. its insane. The detail is just amazing, You seriously need to figure it out man. You are missing out. As Tael said, you need a HDMI cable and check the HD output of your TV. I think the 40 inch ones are 720p. Then check if the 360 or PS3 is in that mode in its video settings. Then make sure you buy a BLU ray original disk. There is a marked difference to DVD.

I think the 40 inch ones are 720p. Nah, my TV's a 40" and it's 1080P. I think 40" is the smallest size for 1080P though. Sweet, what other games do you play muscipula?
