Greetings,
I've only been growing Heliamphora for a couple of years now, and things seem to be going well so far. I noticed the other day that my Heli heterodoxa x minor is going to flower. The strange thing is that the pitchers on this plant are not that tall (2-3"), but the plant looks very healthy. I always thought that they got taller than this before you could consider them adult "flowering size" plants.
I'll try to get a picture of the plant tonight after work.
My question is... Is this normal?
Thanks in advance

Congrats, I would really like to see a pic if you get to take one.

The spike is still in bud, but when they pop out, I'll be snapping away.
