Hi everybody,
Sorry not from Canada, but in love with Your huge country and its nature+inhabitants.
I am currently looking for drosera linearis seeds, with specific origin if possible.
Living in Swiss mountains, I guess the growing conditions won't be that different. Having been growing drosera rotund. and anglica outside for ages, I can also offer seeds of these two species (with their European original location) for trade
If more into exotics, I also have nepenthes seeds and will soon also offer drosera petiolaris-complex seeds for swapping.
Thanks for contacting privately if you feel like,
Olivier from Switzerland

Hi Olivier -
I seem to recall corresponding with an Olivier in Switzerland years ago. Are you the same Olivier who wrote to me back in the late 1980's (before email... ie. via post letter)? If you are, hello again! I will have to go back into my box of correspondence to look for your old letter...
David

Hello again David, indeed, that Olivier is me!
Great to get back in touch after so many years. Actually, I've just gone and looked for old letters and faxes of yours: I think we started corresponded exactly 10 years ago. Still have the photos you sent me about a meeting etc. How did the nep seeds "Kemiri" turn out ? "They" still don't agree whether or not it's a new species or a variety of singalana and/or densiflora!
As you could read, I'm looking for dr. linearis, ... but still growing about 70 species of neps!
Looking forward to hearing from you again,
Cheers,
OL

Hi Olivier-
This is really wonderful! I don't recall the N. Kemiri ...but let me look around for your correspondence. Perhaps you may be thinking of another David , but then again, I do recall sending out a lot of photos of the show and meeting we had out here back in the 80's and 90's.
I'm still growing Nepenthes...around 40 species, mostly highland - some are just huge monsters now, after 20 years of growing. I plan to post a number of these photos up onto my personal website later, including a lot of pics from my treks through Asia looking for these marvels. I've a photo of an upper pitcher for N. ampullaria that I found in Malaysia that is quite amazing...
I can look for D linearis seeds for you...but they're harder to track down over here on the west coast. I think that someone from Ontario will have a better chance of growing it.
Wonderful to hear from you again! after all these years.
David
