your full of ups and downs arent ya carnivoure i was once like that, sounds like you need more growing space as we all do!! this is my colourful H. minor. I feed it a quagulation of many fish foods which i mix and let sit for a day in a shot glass with clean water.

Hey carnivoure, I jus recieved my H. minor in the mail last nite from labine and it was chlorophyll green at the time. This morning when i woke up to check my plants again, I observed the same yellowish (guacamole green in my case) colour to all the raised part of the pitchers. My conditions are as follows: 26C, 80RH most of the time and the plant is about 1 feet away from the lights. I'm using 50/50 perlite/peat mixture with a bottom layer of fur bark. I haven't had much hands on experience with this specimen but as a new parent to this plant, I couldn't help but worry a lil. I'm hoping its either a) aclimating or b) turning red from the 4 bulb T5HO's. One of my pitchers is already turning red. But as mabudon said, it is normal to see this after shipping and what not. Let's hope for the best! I got a new concern, you know the ridge or raised part of a heli pitcher, kind of like a neps ladder? Is it supposed to be yellowish? I didn't really note that until yesterday, is it dying ?

HA first heli I got, the nectar spoon broke off seconds after I first laid eyes on it, don't despair, it seems common enough I just knocked the glass top into my terrarium. Knocked more than the nectar spoon off my biggest heli pitcher. Guess I won't do THAT again.
