Hey everyone, I have a question about dormancy, is -20 C too cold for a Judith hindle and VFT for dormancy is so, what do I do, I live in an apartment in toronto which gets those temps in the winter.

-20C is far too cold. Put them in the fridge if possible.....if not see if a friend has a cool place for the winter they can be stored at. I would think a low temp like +3 if what you are looking for....and still getting some light if possible (but no 100% needed as can put plant in fridge if that works).

If they are in pots above ground or on a balcony then yes it is way too cold. If they are in a ground bog where heat from below the frost line moderates temperatures AND they are protected by mulch or snow cover then they have a shot.
