Lloyd, I can send some filiformis and maybe a couple of purps from Bancroft if you like. For water here in Niagara I drilled a hole in my eavestrough, put in a tee and ran a half inch plastic tube to the base of my bog, it overflows off the top. That flushes it with fresh rainwater to keep any nutrients from building up

I just planted all my hybrid sarr seedlings (from Dan's seeds). They filled up two planters. Then we had this brief torrential downpour so they look a bit crushed and maybe a bit cold due to a low of 10C last night. The older plants are really enjoying the sun, air, rain & ambient temperature and are happily sending up new leaves. When I get the older sarr seedlings and the VFT seedlings planted, I'll post some pictures.

It's supposed to go down to 2C Monday & Tuesday nights. Will this be bad for my plants (sarrs) that wintered indoors at ~ 10C or the 2 month old seedling sarr's that have been growing inside? Should I cover them or mulch them?

I'm not an expert but I don't think there is much variation between 10 and 2 C as far as the plants are concerned. In the wild they would see a lot more variety, late spring cool snaps and so on. If you feel better, I would rig a lightweight cover on supports leaving airspace underneath, this would probably add a couple of degrees. Adding mulch would stress them more since the plants would get a lot of jostling each time you remove it

I chickened out last night and covered the containers with plastic bags. It was cold. The plants have never been outside before this month so I didn't think they were ready for a frost.

Just put all my hardened stuff from TC outside yesterday. Now I find it's going down to 4C on Tuesday night! I wrecked my back last week carrying the pots inside so I guess I'll cover them if it gets cold again. I had dozens of VFT's and sarr's to stick in. If they survive the sun and weather, I'll post some pictures. It's amazing how the VFT's grow in TC. The natural seedlings from last year are dime sized while the TC ones from this year are the same size as the ones you get from Home Depot or Loblaws. By the way, if anybody has any outside pings or sundews, plants or seeds let me know and we can make a deal.

Tom (thanks!) just sent me some plants and I put them in my microbogs yesterday. The cold May really set the VFT's back but they are slowly coming back. The flava's look Ok and the filiformis that Sib sent me are going to flower. Of course everything overflowed during the torrential rains the last week or so. And today it's down to 10C so everything will be taking its time. My leuco is just a bunch of phyllopodia, not too impressive.

Well I just sort of kneel down and gaze at all the plants which are a bit different every day. Just sort of looking and not exactly a lot of intellectual activity going on.
We had a huge storm tonight, we all got soaked going to a local restaurant. My microbogs got hit pretty hard. The flavas filled with water and flopped over. My seedling sarr's container were totally flooded, my drainage didn't work at all so I've got to repot them tomorrow.
