pH meters come with standard solutions of pH 4 and 7 normally. Atleast those are the ones I have seen in my chem lab. They need to be calibrated before use. I am pretty sure Lloyd will be taking care of this issue before making any readings

Stephen: I used to keep my pH bulb in the 7.01 pH reference solution but now I use a special electrode storage solution that I bought locally. The instructions said that the bulb must never dry out. I love gadgets and measuring things, nice toys as you say.
