After nearly a year, my bogs finally done!(well mostly) Yay rejoyce hehe. planting went rather quickly and smoothly, took about 2 hours. Just curious as to how other people handle the lay out of their bog gardens. Thanks, Sib

I have to put mine "Back Together" since they had to Redig my pong and it was too close to the side they destroyed it (They didn't get my plants... Well maybe a few D.Rotundifolia...) Well Thats going to be remade soon... Doe's anyone know if S.Dana's Delight can handle are winters? I would think so but just making sure! Cya

Ahhh, I MUST stop goofin around with mine I moved more stuff yesterday
I TRIED to have the larger plants in the centre/back of the bog but I must have screwed up, the biggest plant looks to be at the far left edge now, not at ALL what I anticipated
I have the outer perimiter "studded" with S.minor and some smaller stuff like S.purpurea and various seedlings. I have to figure out what's where once the pitchers all form then maybe one more shuffle next year. After thinking I had space for a few years expansion, I'm already scouting another full-sized bog location tho...

I'll have to say master plan but not nearly as good looking as Jay's. My master plan is putting all the pitcher plants along the back edge, not so much for height as for the deeper roots to keep the peat moss from washing into the lake.
